Maske, Harold James “Jim” (Popeye), 72, born Feb. 5, 1945 in Brisbane, Australia to Peggy and Harold Q. Maske. He joined the angels May 9, 2017. He never met a stranger. Jim enlisted in the Navy while in High School. A Vietnam Veteran, shot from a plane and rescued by dolphins. Preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Ethel; sons, Harold Jr and Lowell Moore; daughters, Sherri McBride and Shelly Surbaugh; granddaughter, Ashley Schlender and great grandsons, Amarion and Richard James Schlender, and his mother-in-law, Helen Crain.. Funeral service 10:00am Saturday, Broadway Mortuary, with visitation beginning at 9:00am. Graveside Service 1:00pm, Saturday at the Stoehr Cemetery, Elmdale, KS.
