Helen Josephine "Jo" Dehncke, left us on August 11, 2023 after living a full and blessed life for 96 years. She was born on December 28, 1926 in Carson, Oklahoma. Her parents were Rex Alonzo Burton, and Maude May Wolf Burton. She is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Dehncke; children, Ruth Ann Skeen, and Tommy Dehncke. She is survived by daughters, Jannet Skeen Drewry, and Kathy Dehncke (Richard) Moore. She was blessed with three grandsons, Wayne Drewry, Kenneth (Kinglsey) Drewry, and Tyler Moore, and two great-granddaughters, Reese and Epiphany. Helen was the oldest of ten children, her surviving siblings are Bennie Burton, and Berniece Burton Berens. Helen was a member of Westside Church of God, and lived during the Greatest Generation of our time where God, family, and country were everything. Many loved her, some who only knew her as "Grandma", and she will be missed immensely by all. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Tuesday, August 15, at Broadway Mortuary. Graveside service will be at 10am, Wednesday, August 16, at Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita.
