Ida M. Funk

Ida M. Funk, 87, Wichita Police Department Warrant Division employee from 1958-1988, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023. Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Funk; parents, John and Zirva Caster; and two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Moyer (Charlie) and Janet Blankinship (Gary); sisters, Donna Maga (Joe), Linda Caster, and Mary Banks; grandchildren, Kara Starling (Paul), Ryan Chaney (Cynthia), and Brynn Webb (James); eight great-grandchildren, Koehn Chaney, Allison Chaney, Jayden Chaney, Alexander Webb, Annaleigh Webb, Ashlee Hatcher (Tyler), Austin Webb, and Aaron Webb; one great-great-grandchild, Melanie Johnson; and special friend, Randy Owen. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 am, Thursday, Sept. 7, Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd. There will be a time to visit with family prior to the service starting at 9:30 am.
