Jacob Benjamin Peters, born on March 25th, 1988 in Wichita, KS to Sally and William Peters, unexpectedly passed away on September 24th, 2025. He was a beloved son, nephew, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. Known by many names; Badass Biker, Baseball Aficionado, Fish Whisperer, Big Dog, Boss-man, Ogre, Shake, and our most cherished Dumbass.
Growing up in Wichita, Jake spent his youth playing ball, fishing, and camping. As a young man he found brotherhood within the El Forastero Motorcycle Club and proudly built his own chopper. Later he managed and helped build business and family within Mr. Nice Guy's Vape Store. He held many hobbies throughout the years; jewelry making, card collecting and trading, tending of bonsais and maple trees, running and playing various games with friends, collecting pieces of Native American history, not to mention the thousands of hours spent kayaking, catching fish, even befriending local wildlife.
Gone too soon, he is remembered for his brilliance of all things off topic, his passion for baseball, cards, fish, and his love of the game. He used his tough guy exterior to have the backs of many. Beyond that, he had a deeply loving, sincere, and devoted heart. He fostered his love through quality time and shared interests and nurtured a lifelong love for the outdoors. He is survived by his parents, Sally Peters, William and Tamara Peters. Aunts and uncles Janet and Jules Harris of Wichita, KS, Susan and Louis Healan of Arlington, TX, and Eugene and Penny Peters. Cousins Ashley, Lydia, Meredith, Christine, and Teresa. And many more nieces, nephews, and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richards and Melba Schmidt, Eugene and Virginia Peters, his uncles Michael Schmidt and Gary Peters, as well as his brother Boston Sicard. Jake, you will be deeply missed.
