James Geer

Geer, Jim, 49, passed away at his home on March 20, 2017, following a long illness. Jim was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 19th, 1967. After his fun years at East High School, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a draftsman. Jim began his career as a draftsman with Balco, Inc in 1987. At the time of his passing he was the Senior Manager of Inside Sales. He loved his work and enjoyed his work family. Jim is survived by his best friend, Jennifer Little; sister, Connie Jo Edenstrom and her husband Mike; his adored nephews, Tim Black, Kobe and Ian Edenstrom; brother, Chris Geer; and many cousins, that helped make him who he was today. Jim also shared much love for three special people, Chandler, Clarice and Cierstin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Patricia Geer. The family is grateful for the many months of care that Jennifer provided for Jim during his illness, and his ongoing recovery. Jennifer is everything a best friend should be and more. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Jim Geer’s Memorial Fund, c/o Valliance Bank, 5900 S. Lake Forest Drive, Suite 100, McKinney, Texas 75070.
