Knowles, James S., retired KG&E Agent and Boeing Facilities Manager; KU Alumni, North American Engineering Society Member, avid KU Sports and Aviation Enthusiast, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. Private family services will be held. Preceded in death by parents, Burt and Louise Knowles; son, Brent Knowles and brother, Tom Knowles. Survivors include his children, Jim II (Colleen) Knowles, Brenda (Todd) Johnson, Tom Knowles and Steve (Amy) Knowles; grandchildren, David, Ashley and Alex Knowles, Brian (Samantha) Sandbothe; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bill Knowles.
