Janet Kay FitzSimmons, 76, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025. Visitation with family will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, June 11 at the Cozine Life Events Center. Funeral service celebrating Jan's life will be at 10:00am, Thursday, June 12, also at the Cozine Life Events Center. Burial will be at 2:00pm, Thursday June 12, at the Cairo Cemetery in Cairo, Kansas. Jan is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynn FitzSimmons; and father, Bill Querry. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Querry; children, Shanda (Alan) Pierce, Scott (Ajelet) Mackender, Dennis (Kristi) FitzSimmons, Leann (Robert) Barnes, and Barb (Scott) Glenn; brother, Ron (Karen) Querry; sister, Twyla Browning; 16 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
