Jan Kelty

Janice "Jan" Kelty, 79, retired treasurer to numerous insurance companies, passed away January 10, 2018. She was preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Helen Douglas; loving husband, Iven Kelty; and brother, Duane Douglas. Survivors include daughters, Kathryn Nelson (Mike Shelton) and Connie (Brad) Nichols; sister, Kay Swanson (Lonnie); grandchildren, Abigail (Jake) Lobel, Devin Greenway (Arturo Gonzalez), Hilary (David) Cabrejos; and Morgan Wells; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Rafael, Ares, Oliver, Arlo, and Samuel. Jan was passionate about learning. She loved politics, reading, good food with a glass of wine, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Family Visitation, Tuesday, Jan. 16, from 6-8 pm, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Funeral Service, 3 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 17, Wichita Scottish Rite Center, 332 E. 1st St. N.
