Janice E. Murdock, 83, was born on April 16, 1942, to Phillip and Mary Wolfe, and passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026. Janice led a dedicated life, serving as a long-time Accounting Clerk with Hyspeco Hydraulic Supply, before choosing to retire to embrace a cherished role as a grandmother.

Her commitment to her career reflected her strong work ethic and determination, yet it was in her family where Janice found her greatest joy. She is survived by her beloved children: Allan Murdock, Robert Murdock (Anne), Lori Stockstill, (John), and Gary Murdock. Janice's legacy will live on through her grandchildren: Isaiah Murdock (Courtney), Ana Murdock, Kyler Stockstill, Kalee "L'Nae" Stockstill, Lucas Surdirman, and Francine Murdock. Additionally, she was a proud great-grandmother to Brooks Murdock.

Janice was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Wolfe, Wilbur Wolfe, and Melvin "Stub" Wolfe, and her sisters, Corrinne Splichal and Phyllis Christiansen.

Services to celebrate Janice's life will be held at Olivet Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas on Saturday, April 4, commencing at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions can be made to West Side Good Neighbor Center or Olivet Adoption Fund, both in care of Olivet Baptist Church, 3440 W. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67203.
