Jay'D Birkey

Jay'D Birkey , 17, Andover High School student, died February 22, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, at NewSpring Church.  Jay'D had several hobbies: biking, video games, air soft, watching funny videos, movies, welding, trampoline park and wiring audio speaker equipment.  He enjoyed hanging with friends and had a great sense of humor.  He was fascinated with the process of customizing cars.  He always attended youth group and volunteered at the Humane Society.  He worked part time at Arby’s and always arrived early to eat his Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich.  Jay'D was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley Foth and Doug Cox.  He is survived by his parents, Dellis and Sharon Birkey; grandparents, Jake (Lois) Birkey, Edna Foth and Lena Cox; brothers, Lynn (Ashley) Birkey and Kenny Birkey; sisters, Caris (Brent Ferry) Birkey and Ashley (Jimmy Naasz) Birkey; nephews and niece, Donovan Birkey, Tyson Birkey, Raegan Birkey and Odin Naasz.
