Jean Gleason
January 2, 1935 — March 24, 2017
Gleason-Thomson, Jean, 82, retired USD 259 Secretary, PTA President at Harry Street School, and Girl Scout Leader for more than 20 years, passed away March 24, 2017. She was actively involved in the local drum corps. Open viewing will be 4-7 p.m., Friday, March 31st with Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1st, both at Broadway Mortuary. She was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Marie Mersch; daughter, Janice K. Gleason; and brother, John Carlisle. Survivors include daughter, Joann Hartig; son, Jeff Gleason; brother, Alan Carlisle; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society.
