Jean Robinson

Jean Ellen Robinson, 84, retired Minister and Professor of Philosophy at the Butler County Community College, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 in Wichita, KS. Jean was born November 25, 1940 in Morrill, KS to the late George and Mary Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bryce Robinson; sisters, Ann Tregellas and Alice Bowser; and brother-in-law, Dennis Schmidt. Jean is survived by her sons, James (Gretchen) Schacht of Tacoma, WA and Mark Schacht; daughters, Susan (Mike) Dwyer of Loveland, CO and Diane (Ken) Avenoso of Portland, OR; sisters, Lucy Schmidt and Gerri (Michael) Carlisle; grandchildren, Eric (Ari) Schacht, Peter Schacht, Zachary Dwyer, Caleb Dwyer, Nathan (Savannah) Dwyer, Claire Avenoso and Adele Avenoso and numerous nieces and nephews and soon to be first great-grandson. Jean loved to garden and always had a beautiful healthy garden. She loved the Lord and looked forward to eternal life in Heaven.
