Joan B. Rains, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Joan was preceded in death by her former husband, Wayne Younts; daughter, Cassandra Minton; and adoptive mother, Rosie Griffin. Survivors include her husband, Buford Rains; son, Wayne Younts, Jr.; step-sons, Kevin and Kirk Rains; brother, Jack Cox; two half-sisters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Services, 2 pm, Friday, June 3, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kansas Humane Society. Share condolences at www.CozineMemorial.com.
