JoAnne Shartzer, 89, Homemaker, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Former Church Librarian, JoAnne was very active in her church and cherished spending time with her grandkids. Visitation 6-8:00pm, Thursday, Cozine Life Events Center. Funeral Service 10:30am, Friday, July 29, 2022, Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Center, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Shartzer; son, Dan; and parents, Howard and Neva Hood. Survivors include her sons, Neal Shartzer and Gary (Karen) Shartzer; daughter, Beverly Godown; grandchildren, Lisa (Grover) Gregory, Stephanie (Bob) Arens, Nicole (Christian) Penner, Amanda Godown-Ho, Casey (Randi) Godown and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Carter. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
