John W. Bates, 76, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Visitation with family, 6-8 pm, Thursday, Sept. 29, and Celebration of Life Service, 10 am, Friday, Sept. 30, both at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. John is survived by his wife, Debbie Bates; daughter, Kelly Baughn; stepson, Joe Hunter (Tiffany); sister, Jenny Jenson; sister-in-law, Becky Jarrett (Larry); grandchildren, Alexis, Joey, Jennifer, Xavier, Zane, and Anissa; and 9 great-grandchildren.
