John C. Bias III was a loving father, devoted grandfather, and compassionate soul who departed this life on October 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a man of great heart and generosity - always giving, always teaching, and always leading with quiet strength.

John's legacy is one of love and resilience. He showed his family how to stand strong through life's storms and to face each day with courage, kindness, and faith. His presence could fill a room with warmth, and his laughter could lift any spirit. To know John was to love him. His heart was generous, his spirit was steadfast, and his love for family was unwavering. His family finds comfort in knowing that his love will continue to guide them. The memories they hold will remain a source of peace, strength, and joy.

Cherished Family

John preceded his wife, Lorie Michelle Bias in death by eight days. He also leaves behind his daughters, Jessica Bias, Felicia Bias, and Amber Bias. He was the proud grandfather of eight beautiful grandchildren, Mekhi Bias, Kiarra Gibbs, Acaisha Leigh, Aaliyah Robinson, Amari Robinson, Alana Sykes, Antonio Norman Jr, and Christopher Mercer Jr.; John was the oldest brother of four. He leaves behind his brothers: Andy Bias (wife Vickie Bias), Francis Bias (wife Judy Bias), and James Bias (wife Maria Bias); John will be cherished and remembered by his cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in Death by his loved ones who went before him:

Daughter, Jauniece N. Bias; Mother, Hazel M. Bias; and his Grandfather, John C. Bias Sr.
