John Robert Hall

Passed from this life to eternity to be with his Father in Heaven on April 2, 2018. Bob was born on May 22, 1931 to Milton and Peggy Hall. He spent his early years in Wichita and grew up in Long Beach, California where he embraced the love of sailing. At the ripe old age of 17, he joined the Marine Corps and served our country in the Korean War. He returned to Wichita to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at Wichita University and during this time he met the love of his life, Jeanneane Johnston. They were married on December 17, 1954. Bob graduated with his Law degree from Washburn University in 1959. He practiced law in Wichita, first with Adams, Jones, Robinson and Malone. He began his own law firm; Hall, Turner and Pike, specializing in Oil and Gas Law. Upon retirement, Bob and Jeanneane moved to Manasota Key, Florida, where they resided for 8 years. They returned home to Wichita in 2004. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Peggy Hall and by his great grandson, Elijah Dixon. He is survived by Jeanneane Hall, his wife of 63 years, John (Michele) Hall, Jenny (Kurt) Entsminger, Sheri (Marc) Gorges, Lorie (David) Dean, Amy Green, fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two on the way. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, April 5th, at Central Christian Church in the chapel, 2900 N. Rock Road. A memorial has been established with Junior Achievement of Wichita.
