Johnny Stroud

Johnny Dean Stroud, 81, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024. Johnny is a proud veteran of the Navy, and spent his working career as a systems accountant working for the government. Visitation with Johnny’s family will be from 5-7pm, Monday, March 11, at the Cozine Life Events Center. Funeral service will be at 10:30am, Tuesday, March 12, also at the Cozine Life Events Center. Burial, and the rendering of military honors will begin at 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 12, at the Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas. Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosetta Stroud; children, Brian Stroud, and Angel Stroud; and sister, Betty Knodel. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Darlene Stroud; sons, John (Stephanie) Stroud, Joe Stroud, and Joseph Stroud, II; brothers, Jimmy Stroud, and Jerry (Rosemary) Stroud; grandchildren, Diamond Stroud, Dallas Stroud, Danielle Lucas, and Dominique Vanover; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Stroud, Makayla Hatch, Aydyn Hatch, Jaxxon Strahan, and many other friends and extended family members.
