Joseph Goewert

Joseph Charles Goewert, 81, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. Joe was born on December 18, 1944 in St. Louis county, Missouri to parents, Arthur and Louise Goewert. Joe meet the love of his life, Sue Vestle, in Wichita, Kansas. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage together, and were blessed with one daughter, Karla. Outside of being a father, husband, and engineer, Joe enjoyed spending time planting and harvesting pecans, and being on the lake fishing. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karla Jo Goewert; brother, Art Goewert; brother-in-law, Bill Vestle; and nephew, Kevin Goewert. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sue Goewert; sister-in-law, Marsha Vestle; nieces and nephews, Julie Kuntz, Karrie Goewert, Brian Goewert, Matt Goewert, Brian Vestle, Jennifer Flores, and many extended family and friends.
