Judith (Judy) Hull

December 19, 1937 — January 20, 2021

Mary Judith (Judy) Hull, born December 19, 1937, died peacefully at home in Wichita, Kansas on January 20, 2021. Trisagion and Funeral Service at 7:00pm, Monday, January 25, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Interment 11:00am, Tuesday, January 26, at Kensington Gardens.

Judy was born in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Sunset Hill Academy and the University of Kansas where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.


She married James (Jim) Hull of Wichita, Kansas in 1960. Judy is survived by Jim as well as four children: Jay (Dallas, TX), Joe (Wichita, KS), Jennifer (John) Lawrence (Overland Park, KS), and Josie (Lars) Stamp (Wichita, KS). Judy is also survived by eight grandchildren: Colton Hull, Evan Stamp, Masen Stamp, Calen Lawrence, and Drew Lawrence of Dallas, TX; Kier Stamp and Beau Lawrence of Overland Park, KS, and Stratton Stamp of Manhattan, KS.

Judy was active in several organizations including KKG Alumni and Junior League. As an avid artist and teacher, she was a member of local, regional, and national artist groups. She served on several boards at Starkey Inc. and parish organizations at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. While she loved serving others and being involved in the community, her proudest accomplishment was her loving family.

The family wishes to thank Serenity Hospice Care for their incomparable service and assistance in getting Judy and us through this difficult time. We are also thankful for the many calls, visits, meals, cards, and encouragement from our relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Judy’s name have been established with St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, Christ the Savior Academy, 7515 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206 and Starkey Inc., 4500 W. Maple St., Wichita, KS, 67209.

For those that wish to attend the funeral services, please comply with Covid protocols. Church has asked us to wear masks and socially distance.
