Julie L. Pero

Julie L. Pero, 73, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, at 1:30 pm, Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th St. S., in Wichita. 

Julie loved her family, friends, art, photography, birds, her dogs, and animals in general. Her light will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Vaughamore and sister, Tracy Watkins. Survivors include her spouse, Sherry Kerns; sister, Mary Wilson; brothers, Steven Kerns and John Pero; nieces, Angela Ballinger, Amanda Pawloski, Tonya Settle, Sheena Pero, Tammi Wilson, Jill Wilson; nephews, Trevor Shofe and Aaron Shofe; great-nieces, Berlynn Kerns, Savannah Fry, and Geneva Pawloski; great-great nieces, Mylah Newland, Penelope Shofe, and Marley Shofe; and beloved friends and neighbors, Sharon and David Shofe.
