Karen Marie Houchens, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. A service of remembrance will be held later in the spring. Details will be announced as they are determined. Karen is preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Ethel Nutt; husband, Melvin Houchens; and brothers, Harold Nutt, and Jerry Nutt. She is survived by her son, Bryan Houchens; daughter, Brenda Starr; sister, Maxine (Gary) Thies; granddaughter, Briley Morales; and 2 great-grandchildren.
