Kelly Cole Smith

Kelly Cole Smith was born prematurely in Spokane, Washington, on February 26, 1982, weighing just 2.6 pounds. She passed away one day after her 44th birthday on February 27, 2026.

Tiny, but mighty, Kelly courageously lived her best life, even as she struggled with life-long health and kidney issues. Kelly was passionate about her friends, her family, karaoke, rock bands, WWE Wrestling, stylish clothes, journaling, reborn dolls, tacos, church, Scripture, and Jesus.

Preceded in death by her father Charles Smith and grandmother Peggy Thomas, Kelly is survived by her mother Jenny Smith (Richard Nay); her grandfather Don Thomas, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kelly was adored by her family and will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care – North Pines, Spokane Valley for their kind and gracious care of Kelly.

A memorial service is planned for 11:00 am on Saturday, May 9th at Calvary Chapel Spokane Valley, 16409 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99037.
