Kirby V. Hay, 64, of Wichita Kansas, left his home on earth to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday morning March 21, 2024. He was born November 13,1959 in Guymon Oklahoma. He was ten years old when his parents moved the family to Norwich Kansas, where he continued his schooling until he graduated from high school. At age 19, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and served them proudly for six years. Afterwards, for years he worked for a truck company driving a rig. He drove many miles everyday, including nights. Kirby made another career change and worked for Cessna Aircraft for many years before being laid off. He went back to driving a rig. He was later recruited by Spirit Aerospace in October 2011-March 2024.

Kirby leaves behind his loving family, friends, and many co-workers that he enjoyed working beside everyday. The music he liked was country and he was an excellent dancer. To pass the time, Kirby loved taking a road trip on his motorcycle. He was fun to be around and he would have you in tears from laughing so hard. He was well liked by many people. His family includes his children, Brandy Bullard of Texas, Brittany Gibson of Hutchinson, Jericha Arambula (Homero) of Wichita, Beau Hay of Wichita; his grandchildren, Ashlynn Bullard, Kaleigh Heath, Kyndell Hay-Moyer, Luis Duarte Jr., Luciano Duarte, Aspen Ronquillo, Caison Hay, Coltyn Rinquillo, Emiliano Arambula, Ally and Hope Hay, and Xochitl Arambula; his siblings, Sheila Hay, Neila Hay, Carol VantLeven, and numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones. Kirby was preceded in death by his parents, Frank L. Hay, and Melba D. Hay; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation with family present will be held from 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 28, and Celebration of Life Service, 10:30 am, Friday, March 29, both at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway.
