Thompson, Leatha May, 78, passed away December 27, 2015. Open viewing will be from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Thursday, at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral Service will be 10:30 am, Saturday, at Glenn Park Christian Church, 2757 S. Glenn in Wichita (Nursey will be provided). She was preceded in death by parents, Charles Edelman and Anna Rogers; husband, John I. Gipson; daughters, Theresa Waters and Kathleen Gipson; 1 brother; 1 sister; and son-in-law, Dewey Free. Survivors include husband, Raymond Thompson; sons, John (Mariellen) Gipson, Jr. and Rusty Gipson; daughters, Sandy Free and Gayleen (Donnie) Harmon; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
