LeRoy Bollig

Bollig, LeRoy A., 84, passed away September 4, 2016. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1950 and then spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy – most of this time was spent aboard the USS Marias in the Mediterranean. He married Oneita Jean Rathbun in 1956. He worked for Petroleum, Inc., Central Bank and then retired from Best Supply Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Frieda (Schaus) Bollig. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean; daughter, Patti (Kevin) Neeley of Augusta, KS; son, Greg (Debbie) Bollig of Lampe, MO; and four grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Neeley of Topeka, KS, Matthew Neeley of Wichita, KS, Jessica Bollig of Austin, TX and Amanda Bollig of Wichita, KS. A visitation with family will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am, Saturday, September 17th, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway, Wichita. Following the visitation, a graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am at Resthaven Cemetery, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita. Contributions may be to KSDS, Inc.
