Lisa Fuson Kramer, LSCSW, age 40, died unexpectedly on December 26, 2022. Lisa
spent the first half of her life in College Hill, where she lived on Fountain until
graduating from WSU with her bachelor’s degree. She then moved into her own
place, completed her Master’s degree at Newman University and was trained in
play therapy at KCPlay in Kansas City. Lisa spent her career helping people with
their mental health needs. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and
drums. Lisa welcomed her son, Graham Kramer, into her life in 2013 and in
January 2022 she married Matt Englund.
Lisa was predeceased by her grandparents Bonnie and Bill Hammons and Betty
and Kenny Fuson and her cousin Nicole Bingham. She is survived by her
husband, Matt Englund, parents Linda Fields (Jeff) and Gregg Fuson (Michele),
brother Matt Fuson (Kim), sister Ashlie Staats (Randy), aunts Nancy Bingham,
Kathy Pound (Jerry) and Sandy Weber, cousins Dustin Weber, Kelly West (Philip),
Katie Wilkerson (James), nieces and nephews Madison McCloud (Jordan), Brylin
Staats, Keegan Staats, Kale Staats, Gwen Fuson and Grant Fuson.
Lisa’s family, friends, and everyone she helped in therapy are mourning the loss of
a beautiful, intelligent and caring woman.
