Louise Orndoff

Louise D. (Bechtle) Orndoff, 95, loving mother, sister, and grandmother, died December 12, 2020. Visitation with family, 3:00-5:00 pm, Thursday, at Broadway Mortuary. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 18, at White Chapel Cemetery. Louise was born May 8, 1925 in Ottawa, Kansas to Orville and Mary Bechtle. She graduated from Wichita East High School and on October 24, 1943 married Donald D. Orndoff, Jr. Louise enjoyed many hobbies including, gardening, cooking, sewing, jewelry making, exercising, crocheting, planting flowers and baking cookies. She also volunteered at the St. Joe Hospital gift shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Orndoff and sister, Jeanette Williams. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Orndoff of Wichita, Diane Orndoff of Garland, TX, and Susan (Jack) Orndoff Evans of Ben Wheeler, TX; grandson, Jacob Evans of Seattle, WA and sister, Barbara (Bechtle) Reiser of Wellington, KS.
