Loyd Leon Roten

Loyd Leon Roten, 87, died peacefully on July 16, 2025. He was born on December 10, 1937, in Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley of 58 years; his parents and his sisters, Marion Joy and Alice Collier. He was a beloved uncle and is survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other extended family. He was loved and adored by all of them. He is also survived by Norma Pearson, his girlfriend and partner for the past six years. 

He owned and operated Loyd’s Catering Truck for 44 years, and after retiring he went to work for Mel Hambelton Ford for a number of years. He was a positive, energetic guy who never knew a stranger. He loved country western music, dancing, and antique cars. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, goodness and thoughtfulness which he shared freely with others. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 2, at Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St. N. Memorial contributions can be made to Phoenix Hospice. Share condolences at www.cozine.com. Services by Cozine Memorial Group-Cozine Life Events Center.
