Lynda Lee Weller passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Clearwater, Kansas. She was born on April 11, 1949, in Kansas City, MO to Edward Rice and Jesse LaVaun Rice.

She was proud to be part of the Caterpillar H.R. team for over 25 years. She worked with new recruit training technique programs and was given the opportunity to travel abroad, which she enjoyed every minute of.

She always loved plants and flowers. Being outside in her flower beds brought joy to her heart.

Lynda devoted herself for many years, giving back to her community through the Easter Seals organization.

She taught us girls that if there is something in life we want, go get it. The only person who can hold you back, is ourselves.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Rice, and Jesse LaVaun Waymire, and sister, Mary Teresa Rice. She is survived by daughters, Angela Hart, Becky Tullis, and Christina Cardinal, brother Michael Edward Rice, three grandsons, four granddaughters, four great grandsons, and three great granddaughters.
