Marcos Burrola-Jaquez

Marcos Jaquez (Burrola), lovingly known as Marky and Marky The Rock, is such an inspiration to so many. Born on Sept 3, 2000 Marky was diagnosed with Epidermolysis bullosa, also known as butterfly skin disease. A touch to the skin would cause it to tear and blister. Doctors expected that Marky would not live past age 14.

Marky spent his life sharing the gospel, inspiring and loving on anyone he came across. Many have come to know Christ simply by Marky sharing his life and his testimony. Marky was never defined by his diseases. He was defined by his unwavering love for Jesus and his desire to share him with everyone around the world.

On the early morning of Dec 30th 2021, at 21 years old, Marky was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus and was reunited with his brother Babbas.

Awaiting their heavenly reunion is his Mother Melissa, Father Mark, and brother Michael. Marky is loved by so many across the globe and his light for Jesus will continue to shine and change lives.

Markys celebration of life will be held Friday Jan 7th at 11am at Word of Life Church in Wichita Ks.
