Marilyn "Joan" Kandt

Marilyn “Joan” Kandt, 93, passed away March 16, 2024. She was born on April 29, 1930 in Wichita, KS. Joan spent her life in quiet service as a loving mother, “Cookie Grandma,” and on-call volunteer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edward Kandt and parents, George and Bertha Morgan. Survived by her children, Mike Kandt (Susan), Judy Boggs (James), Jenice Busch (Roy), Roger Kandt, and Ron Kandt (Denise Riley); her 8 grandchildren, Stephanie, Casey, Garret, Melissa, Heather, Jon, Matt, and Rachel; 14 great-grandchildren. Rosary Service, 7 pm, Thurs., Mar. 21, and Mass, 10:30 am, Fri., Mar. 22, both at St. Joseph Church, 132 S. Millwood. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Rd.
