Marilyn K. Krug

Marilyn K. Krug, 78, passed away July 18, 2025. Marilyn was born in Harper, KS on October 8, 1946, and graduated from Harper High School in 1964. She married the love of her life Roger, in 1988, and worked in the trucking industry, retiring as a teamster with Yellow Freight. She loved to cook for her friends and family. She also loved to collect many things. Mostly, she loved to make people laugh as she had a wicked sense of humor. 

A Celebration of Life Service has been planned for 1:30 pm, Tuesday, July 29, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Paul "Dutch" and Helen Wohlschlegel; sister, Karen French; and son, Brian W. Welch. Survivors include her husband, Roger Krug; daughter, Brenna (Jay) Davis; sister, Margaret Botkin; daughter-in-law, Margaret Welch; grandkids, Bailey (Brian) Wood, Brandon Welch, Shelby Davis, and Jordan Welch; great-grandkids, Kooper Wood, Kendal Hern, and Benjamin Welch; many nieces and nephews.
