April 16, 1961 — January 15, 2019
Blackthorn, Mark Richard , 57, beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend died January 15, 2019. A gathering with family will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 26th, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm, both at Broadway Mortuary. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Blackthorn, Sr. He is survived his wife, Tracy Blackthorn; mother, Elizabeth Blackthorn; sons, Christopher (Risalyn) Blackthorn, Casey Woods and James Adams-Blackthorn; daughters, Tamara (Stephen) King, Brittany Cooker and Sarah Adams; brothers, James L. Blackthorn, Jr., David W. Blackthorn and Michael B. Blackthorn; sisters, Teresa L. O’Keefe and Mari Beth Blackthorn and 11 grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Sedgwick County Zoo.
