Mark E. Hudson, 72, stepped into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his home in Pratt, KS. He was the first born to Herbert E. and Marie Hudson in San Pedro, California during the time Herb was in the Army stationed at Fort Ord Military Base.
In the mid 80's he came to Kerrville, Texas and gave his heart to the Lord. That changed him forever. The wondering spirit he carried stopped and he pursued a relationship with the Lord fully.
Mark retired about 5 years ago from Freight Logistics as an Over the Road Truck Driver. In the 30 plus years of driving he crossed the U.S. and enjoyed seeing God's creation all along the way.
Mark loved life, laughed often, loved Stef and Aaron. He was excited to be a grandpa and then Zechariah became his Bud. He enjoyed being with family, and having good conversations around the table with great home cooked meals. He enjoyed taking Zech fishing when he was younger. He played dominoes and cards every chance he was in town. He had a BIG heart, was a conservative to the core, who listened way too much to talk radio while in the truck and on the road and enjoyed a good sermon weekly.
He is survived by his daughter, Stefani Pinaire and husband Alexander of Pratt, KS; son, Aaron Hudson of TX; son, Jonathan Lewis and wife Jennifer of New Braunsfel, TX; grandson, Zechariah Pinaire; brothers, Steven Hudson and wife Karen of Troupe, TX and Bubby Hudson and wife Dena of Wichita, KS; sister-in-law, Marie Hudson of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Gary Chapman of Haysville, KS and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, parents, a brother, a sister, a niece, and two great nephews who all welcomed him into Glory to get caught up on all the things they have been experiencing since their departure. See you on the other side. We love and sure miss you!
