Marty Van Nordstrand

Marty Allen Van Nordstrand, 49, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026. Service celebrating Marty's life will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, May 6, at the Cozine Life Events Center in Wichita, Kansas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service, beginning at 1:00pm.

Marty will be remembered as a devoted father, son, and friend who cherished time spent with those he loved. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and friends, attending events with family and friends, and was always a helping hand to anyone in need. A man of strong faith, Marty volunteered with his church and shared God's Word wherever he went. He was a very hard worker who did everything he could to provide for his family, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, kindness, and love.

Marty is preceded in death by his father, Mark Van Nordstrand. He is survived by his mother, Martha Van Nordstrand; his sons, Trent (Olivia) Van Nordstrand, Logan Becker, Mason Van Nordstrand, and Noah Bishop; siblings, Dawn Roque, Jody (Travis) Girk, Anita Van Nordstrand, and Paul Van Nordstrand; grandson, Finnick Van Nordstrand; nieces and nephews, Matthew Van Nordstrand, Vanessa (Sebastian) Kendall, Anthony (Jennifer) Gonzalez, Nycole Dale, Steven (John) Stewart-Buffin, Poe Harley, Renee O'Day, Raymond O'Day, and many aunts, uncles, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
