Marvin Tyson

Tyson, Marvin Mark, 77, loving husband, father and grandfather, surrounded by his family, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2016. Visitation with family, 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, February 4th, at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral service 10:00 am, Saturday, February 6th, at Central Christian Church. Marvin retired from Beechcraft, where he was a Senior Industrial Engineer for over 40 years. He was an avid Shocker basketball fan and proud alumnus of Wichita State University. He served many years as an Elder at Central Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Tyson; sister, Mary Jane Pankey and brother, Phillip Tyson. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Marcia; son, Christopher Tyson; daughter, Debra Boyd; grandchildren, Kendall, Tyler and Evan Boyd; sister, Barbara (Gene) Kading; half-sister, Valene (Dave) Amsdill and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
