Mary Jane (Compton) Alloway, 100, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. No Services. Mary Jane was born January 10, 1922, to the late Alison and Zama Compton of Milton, KS. On Feb. 11, 1939, she married Lawrence Alloway of Anness, KS. He preceded her in death in 1998. Also preceding her in death, granddaughter Michelle Wineger; brothers, Roy Harold, Glen, and Robert Compton; sister, Esther (Dale) Fornshell; sister-in-laws, Helen, Maxine, JoAnn, and Pat Compton and Lorraine Morrison; brother-in-law, Vern Morrison; nephew, Doug Morrison. She is survived by her sons, Kurt (Mary Kay) of Wichita, Terry, Jerry (Alice) of Conway Springs; daughter, Sondra (Jim) Wood of Wichita; grandchildren, Kelly Wood, Shane Alloway, Charity (Jeff) Enstrom, Ashley (Ryan) Cox, Brynn Alloway, Jerry and Jason Kraus; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Andrew, and Lucas Enstrom, Campbell, Quinn, Rory, and Reagan Cox, Jessie and Ashtyn Kraus, Jacob and Jayden Kraus; siblings, Pete (Nelva) Compton, Homer Compton, Earl (Norma) Compton; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Compton.
