Mellard, Mary Elizabeth, 87, retired WSU Secretary, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. Memorial services 10:00am, Thursday, Bethany Lutheran Church, 1000 W. 26th South. Preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Mellard; parents, Clinton and Ethel Searcy and sisters, Barbara O’Day and Sandra Shulaw. Survivors include her son, Richard W. and Shelley Mellard, II; daughters, Kathy Mellard and Carla Mellard; brother, Donald (Leora) Searcy; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
