Mary Lou Ellis, fell into the arms of Jesus Christ, her Savior, and traded this old world for heaven on July 3, 2021. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 8 at Riverview Baptist Church, 844 W. 53rd St. N. Mary Lou was born to Thelma J. and John E. Duncan in Helena, Oklahoma in 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Clark and Don Duncan; stillborn sister, Thelma Louise; and the love of her life and husband for 61 years, Denis E. Ellis. Survivors include her daughter, Denice (Mike) Bay; son, Ron (Leslie) Ellis; grandsons, Joshua (Lixeth) Rowell, Brandon and Blake Ellis; great-grandsons, Justice (KaNysha) Rowell, Xavier and Sabian Rowell, and Diego Rodriguez; great-granddaughters, Dayanna and Jennifer Rodriguez; and great-great-grandchildren, Liberty and Anakin. She leaves behind the legacy of being a humble servant of the Lord and people. She was a loving and caring wife, mom, and grandmother. Memorials have been established with Riverview Baptist Church and Union Rescue Mission.
