Matthew Stowell

Matthew J. Stowell, 30, beloved son, brother, and friend, died unexpectedly on July 20, 2022. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St. N. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Hope Community Church in Andover.

Matthew was born on October 2, 1991 in Wichita, Kansas to Chuck and Elizabeth Stowell. He grew up in Andover, Kansas and most recently worked as a rural mail carrier. His main hobby was video gaming with players throughout the country. He was very involved with the middle school ministry at Hope Community Church, where he truly enjoyed the interaction and participation with the kids. He will be missed by many.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Chuck and Elizabeth Stowell; brothers, Will (Rachel) Stowell and Ben Stowell; sister, Emily (Taylor) Bryant; nephews, Ben and Ronan; niece, Beth; uncles, Gene (Diane) Stowell and Bernie (Linda) Herpin; aunt, Carol (John) Tucker; and several cousins.

A memorial has been established with Hope Community Church – Middle School Ministries.
