Melba May Cherry, 86, passed away July 10, 2022. Born August 21, 1935 in Newton, Melba is preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur and Mary Miller, 6 siblings - Wilson, Don, Betty, DG, Richard Arlen and Patricia. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Lyman Cherry; children, Debi (Roger) Blurton, Steve (Yolanda) Cherry, David (Robin) Cherry, and Scott (Karen) Cherry; sister, Harriette (Harold) Moran; brother, Argell Miller; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, 11:00 am, at The First Church of the Brethren, 1103 North Jefferson Street in Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The First Church of the Brethren and Harry Hynes Hospice Care.
