Merle J. Thorton, 86, retired Civil Engineer, passed away surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30am, Monday, July 18, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Merle is survived by his loving wife, Donna G. Thorton; sons, Bradley J. (Lisa) and Christopher L. (Karla) Thorton; sister, Bonnie White (Robert); grandchildren, Lindsey Jolliff, Ryan Thorton, Sarah Gott, and Geoffrey Thorton; great-granddaughter, Chloe Jolliff.
