Miriam Bradford

Miriam Josie Bradford, 83, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023. Miriam was born March 19, 1940 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas to parents, Henry and Esther Martin. Miriam was one of 13 children. Miriam married David Buttel, together they had 6 children, Lee, Bill, Jerry, David, LaVonna, and Cindy. David would precede Miriam in death. After David’s passing, Miriam would marry Harold Bradford. Miriam spent the majority of her working career as a sales associate at TJ Maxx, but her most important job was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Miriam is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 10 of her siblings, and 1 great-grandson. She is survived by sons, Lee (Rhonda) Buttel, Bill Buttel, Jerry (Deborah) Buttel, and David Buttel; daughters, LaVonna (Ron) Unruh, and Cindy (Jim) Koerner; brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Martin, and Bill (Linda) Martin; bonus children, Brad (Cindy) Bradford, Kathy (Mike) Conley, and Patty (Dan) Ochs; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 7 bonus grandchildren, and 8 bonus great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Friday, December 29, at the Cozine Life Events Center. Funeral service celebrating Miriam’s life will be on Saturday, December 30, at 10am, also at the Cozine Life Events Center. Burial at Kensington Gardens will follow the service. In Miriam’s memory, a memorial has been established with Woodland Lakes Community Church.
