Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Monica dedicated two decades of her life to the field of veterinary medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University, where she developed a deep understanding and passion for caring for animals. Monica's commitment to her craft led her to co-own Sisters Vet Clinic with her sister. Under their leadership, the clinic flourished and was recognized as the Best of Wichita in both 2022 and 2023.

Monica's warm and caring nature extended far beyond her career. She was adored by her patients, clients, and staff alike for her larger-than-life personality. Her infectious joy and genuine compassion lit up every room she entered. Monica had an adventurous spirit and a vision for bringing happiness to those around her.

An incredibly devoted mother and wife, Monica cherished spending time with her family. Holidays and vacations held a special place in her heart as she created lasting memories with her children. Whether it was vacations at the lake or snow skiing in Breckenridge, Monica made sure every moment was filled with laughter and love. She had a knack for organizing Easter scavenger hunts and creating creative birthday cakes that brought smiles to everyone's faces.

In addition to being a devoted family woman, Monica had several hobbies that brought joy into her life. Shopping excursions satisfied her love for finding unique treasures while animal care allowed her to indulge in her lifelong passion. Watching and coaching sports activities were also among Monica's favorite pastimes, especially when it involved supporting her children on the field.

Monica will be remembered as a visionary leader who impacted not only the lives of animals but also those around her in various ways. She mentored aspiring veterinarians, served as a club volleyball coach for her daughters, and displayed unwavering loyalty to her loved ones and friends. Her outgoing and fiery nature made her a natural leader, leading by example and inspiring others to follow their dreams.

Beyond her professional achievements, Monica held a deep faith in Jesus Christ. Her caring and protective nature mirrored her devotion to being a devout Christian. She was not only an exceptional veterinarian but also a woman of strong moral fiber.

Monica’s passing leaves behind a void that will be immensely felt by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Kyle Moore and children Katelyn, Andrew, and Kyler Moore; son-in-law Justin Turner; parents Robert and Cathy Cummins; sister April Horn along with her husband Josh Horn and their children Reese and Lane Horn; sister Michelle Cowart and brother-in-law Adam Cowart and their children Wade and Sloan Cowart. She also leaves behind her father-in-law Dennis Moore, mother-in-law Sherian Moore, who shared countless treasured moments with Monica.


Monica Moore's legacy as an incredible mother, devoted Christian, successful veterinarian, business owner, coach, mentor, and friend will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her bright spirit has left an indelible mark on this world that will continue to inspire others for generations to come.

Madison Moore, a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend, tragically passed away on December 10, 2023. She was involved in a devastating car accident alongside her mother, Monica. Madison's untimely departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and countless cherished memories will forever be held close to those whose lives she touched.

Born with a natural enthusiasm for life, Madison filled the years she had with boundless joy and love. She had an unwavering devotion to her family and treasured every moment spent together. Some of her fondest memories were made while tubing at the lake, snowboarding in Breckenridge, and kayaking during a trip to Florida. Madison's infectious laughter and playful nature brought immense happiness to everyone lucky enough to be included in these adventures.

An artist at heart, Madison possessed great creativity and found solace in expressing herself through various forms of art. She took great pride in her talent as a self-taught pianist and captivated audiences with her beautiful melodies. Drawing was another outlet where she poured her soul onto paper while immersing herself in the world of colors and shapes. Madison's artistic endeavors were not limited to personal hobbies; she radiated creativity throughout all aspects of her life.

Sports played an integral role in Madison's life as well, igniting her competitive spirit and showcasing her athleticism. She is survived by her father Kyle Moore, siblings Katelyn, Andrew, and Kyler Moore; brother-in-law Justin Turner; grandparents Robert and Cathy Cummins, Dennis and Sherian Moore; aunts April Horn, Michelle Cowart, Darla Watkins, Amanda Moore, Amy Moore; uncles Josh Horn, Adam Cowart, Tony Watkins, Shannon Moore, Morgan Moore; cousins Reese Horn, Lane Horn, Wade Cowart, Sloan Cowart, Wyatt Moore, Aislynn Moore, Maelynn Moore, Gemma Moore, Caelyss Moore, Cheyenne Borden, Dakota Rogers, Jaylean Watkins, and Brenae Moore as well as countless other relatives and friends who were touched by Madison's vibrant spirit.

Madison's extraordinary journey may have been tragically cut short, but her legacy will forever live on. May we find comfort in the cherished memories shared and the impact she had on our lives.
