Brand, “Nellie” Loette Bates, born January 21, 1934, formerly of Pine Mountain Georgia, died on May 20, 2015, in Augusta, KS. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Bates, and two sons, Merlin Bates and Curran Bates. She is survived by sons, Ruben Bates and Arlis Bates; daughters, Myra Bates and Cynthia Bates; 22 grandchildren and 42 great- grandchildren. A memorial service will begin promptly at 1pm, on June 6, 2015, at Oakside Baptist Church, 1921 Hamilton Road, LaGrange, GA. All family and friends are invited to attend.
