Nina Coleman

Coleman, Nina Earlene, Born December 1, 1931 in Chelsea, OK, passed away in Wichita, KS, Nov 14, 2019 at age 87. Preceded in death by parents, Verdie and Earl Johnson; husband, Jimmie Coleman; brothers, Robert Johnson and John Earl Johnson; sisters, Matilda Buckley and Roberta McEntire; granddaughter, Nikki Coleman; stepchildren, Judy Francis, Janice Coleman and J.C. Coleman.  Survived by her sister, Constance Musgrave; sons, Donn (Jan) Higgins, Larry (Myra) Higgins, Bill (Christie) Coleman and daughter, Peggy (John) Kalinowski; stepchildren, Sharon Coleman and Rose (Troy) Coleman-Campbell; and numerous grandchildren. Earlene was a woman of strong faith.  She was a member of Rolling Hills Community Church since 1948 and served as the church clerk/secretary for over 55 years. Earlene embodied true Christian love and she was an inspiration and encouragement to family and friends. Her life has been a blessing to those fortunate enough to be a part of it.  We will miss her and will treasure our memories of her. Memorial service to be held at Rolling Hills Community Church  on Nov 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up with Harry Hynes Hospice. www.CozineMemorial.com.
