Norbert J. Atherton, 98, retired Teacher with USD 259, former television shop owner, and Co-Owner of KSGL Radio, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. Norbert was preceded in death by his wife, Lanore Atherton. Survivors include his children, Karen Clifford (Don), Terry Atherton (Hazel) and Craig Atherton (Colleen); brother, Wayne Atherton (Debbie); 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Family Visitation, 6-8 pm, Wednesday, June 1, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Funeral Services, 10:30 am, Thursday, June 2, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 11441 E. Central.
