Norman Razook

April 9, 1940 — March 2, 2023

Norman Razook

Norman Joseph Razook was born in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1940. He was the son of Joe & Yvonne Razook. He attended St. Francis Xavier grade school and graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1958. He attended college at Wichita State University. After college, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Norman built a life for himself and his family in Wichita, Kansas. He was a certified Financial Advisor where he worked at Razook & Associates up until entering the hospital this past September. He never met a stranger, from the streets of Aruba to driving down Shawnee Mission Parkway in Kansas City. He always ran into someone he knew. His favorite hobbies were golf, playing cards, casinos, golf trips and hunting. He was an avid sportsman who also enjoyed the simple things in life like coaching his daughters tee ball and softball teams. He loved family vacations. Family was everything to him and his favorite role was Gidi (grandpa). Norman leaves a legacy of selfless love, strength, patience, and enormous love for his family. He will be greatly missed.

Rosary will be at 10:30am, Friday, March 10, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be at 11:00am, Friday, March 10, also at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Lunch will follow the mass. Norman is preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Yvonne Razook; and sisters, Anne Razook, and Jeanette Logan.
