Patricia F. "Pat" Holt

HOLT, PATRICIA F. (PAT), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away November 24, 2022, preceding her 83rd birthday. Pat was born on November 25, 1939 in a private home in Fredonia, KS to Harold and Helen Armstrong (Marshall) and was the third of five children. After the family moved to Coffeyville, KS, Pat attended Whittier elementary school, Roosevelt Junior High School, and Field McKinley high school, graduating in 1957. Pat studied secretarial administration at Coffeyville Junior College, graduating in 1960 with an associate’s degree. 

 She moved to Wichita in 1961, working at Wichita Federal Savings and Loan, and married Robert (Bob) Holt on June 5, 1965. Pat continued her career over the years at Boeing and the Wichita Public School District, retiring in 2002. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harold (Sonny) and Robert (Bobby) Armstrong, of Coffeyville. Survivors include her husband Bob, son Rob Holt of Philadelpia, PA (partner Gavin Houston), daughter Stephanie, son in law Matt Pfannenstiel, and grandchildren Mason and Madison all of Wichita. Pat’s surviving sisters are Carolyn McGinnis (husband Larry), and Marilyn Ingle (husband Joe), and many nephews and nieces. 

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held Thursday, December 1, 2:30 PM at the Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206. Family and friends will gather for a hosted lunch at 12:00 PM, followed by public visitation with the family at 1:30 pm, prior to the 2:30 PM service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to be sent in Pat’s name to the Reliance Community Church Youth Group, 11910 W Pawnee St, Wichita, KS 67215. If your preference is to send a floral tribute, they may be delivered to the Cozine Life Events Center.
